Freelance Web / Graphic Designer
Sports New Media is looking for an experienced Freelance Web / Graphic Designer, professional, affordable without agency rates — someone with innovative ideas and extensive visual design experience who can help accelerate the growth of our business. You must have a minimum of 5-7 years experience, based in London covering all aspects of design from graphics, design for print and web design working both on and off-site.

Skills
1. At least 5-7 years experience in developing designs for web, interactive media in a professional high profile advertising or design shop.
2. Understanding of the web development process, including strategy, user experience, Flash, design and implementation.
3. Extremely creative individual with great design and brand identity sensibilities and strong information design skills.
4. Ability to understand and develop brand identity concepts and create visual continuity across several mediums and outlets.
5. Understands the importance of commercially viable artistic decisions presiding over pure artistic values and aesthetics.
6. Good knowledge of Web UI solutions and the ability to assess content for an online audience.
7. Demonstrated understanding of Internet design issues (browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and quick loading of images, etc.)
8. Knowledge of web architecture, online design, multimedia communications and interface design.
9. Desktop publishing experience required, as well as proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Quark and other graphic and media design and production tools.
10. Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of creativity and quality.
11. Demonstrated skill in managing projects effectively and delivering on-time and on-budget.
12. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and work on multiple projects simultaneously with great efficiency and attention to detail.
13. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced atmosphere with high standards for quality and accuracy.
